The Texas Mamma Jamma Ride is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping people in our local community facing breast cancer.

Our amazing community of cyclists, volunteers, sponsors, and beneficiary organizations come together each year to raise funds and participate in one of the best supported and most fun bike rides in Texas.

The Mamma Jamma founders were committed to raising funds to support local organizations to ensure that people in Austin and the surrounding communities have access to the care and support they need to fight breast cancer.

Modeled after Hill Country Ride for AIDS, each organization benefiting from Mamma Jamma invested seed money to start the ride. Each year, the net proceeds from Mamma Jamma are distributed to the beneficiary organizations to help those facing breast cancer.

What's Raised Here Stays Here

Funds raised through the Texas Mamma Jamma Ride support local organizations that help Central Texans facing breast cancer by providing a comprehensive range of programs and services. By being part of the Mamma Jamma Ride, you help every one of these organizations with each gift.

Janis is a recent retiree of Dell and has been involved in the Mamma JammaRide from the start.  She helps coordinate all the training rides and teaches our beginners clinics. Janis does a little bit of everything at the ride and we are so grateful and so lucky to have her on the team.

Jenny wears so many hats it’s surprising she isn’t wearing one in this picture!  She was president of Capital of Texas Team Survivor for 7 years, worked at Specialized Bicycles helping them bring awesome cycling equipment to the world and now she’s a Project Manager at Dell, president of the Mamma Jamma Ride, and a key leader on our training ride team.  When Jenny isn’t being awesome at work or helping people with cancer, she can be found riding her bike with her beautiful little girl in tow.
